First Program Overview:

The program will include three nights at the local Nubian Kingdom Aragheen House in Aswan Nubia. Immerse yourself in the traditional culture of the Nubian village, while exploring the famous beauties of the great city of Aswan. You will live with local Nubian natives, enjoying the well-reviewed comforts of the Nubian Kingdom Aragheen House. During the day, explore the historical tombs of Aswan, enjoy swimming in the fresh water of the Nile River, and take a sunset camel ride along the highest point of Aswan – mount Qubbet Al-Hewat by the Noble Tombs of Nubia. Experience the local culture in a manner unlike any other.

Location: The Kingdom of Nubia Aragheen House (See top-rated TripAdvisor and Air B&B reviews and awards). Your stay will take place directly on the West Bank of the Nile River in the local Nubian Village in the city of Aswan Nubia.

Accommodations: Air conditioned rooms with 3 shared bathrooms. You will feel at home in our Nubian-style guesthouse, with all amenities and comforts provided for.

Meals: All meals will be provided and consist of local Nubian meals, fish from the Nile, and fruits grown in the local area.

Trip Itinerary:

Day 1– Take a camel back tour of the local Nubian village. You will be immersed in the farming, fishing, and communal atmosphere of the Nubian village. Then, take a camel back tour of the Noble Tombs of Nubia, visit the Sansen Simon Monastery, sand board on mount Qubbet Al-Hewa, and enjoy a beautiful sunset overlooking the great city of Aswan and the Nile River.

Day 2 – Travel to the Temple of Philae, visit the missing Obelisk, and explore the Nubian Museum. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing sail aboard the local Feluccia boat, while making stops to visit the historic Botanical Garden and Elephantine Islands.

Day 3 – Spend the morning exploring the awe inspiring temple of Abu Simbel. Then, enjoy a motor boat ride along the Nile River to a beautiful local Nubian beach for a swim in the Nile River. Experience a visit to the local Nubian Market and relax on the Nile River for an evening dinner.
